Michel Lafarge, Meursault Blanc Vintage:2016 Utterly elegant(from Vignes Blanches, Cargouillot and En Marcausse, all of which are near the Volnay border). There is a smoky component to the ripe aromas of citrus confit, hazelnut and acacia blossom. The succulent but solidly intense medium weight flavors also possess fine concentration and volume before concluding in an attractively textured, sappy and sneaky long finale. Lovely.
